ADAM AND MAGGIE

Our Microwedding

COVID-19 may have altered our plans for the big wedding we had imagined, but the result was nothing short of magic - a 15 person wedding on Lake Champlain (Burlington, VT).

We wanted to share that magic with our friends and family - enjoy!

6/26/20

We had to change the date from 6/27 to 6/26 the week of the wedding due to predicted thunderstorms, and somehow it all worked out beautifully. We have created this site to share that magic with our loved ones that could not be present. We cannot wait to celebrate in person when it is safe.

THE FIRST LOOK...

Adam and Maggie met at the home of friends in Hinesburg, VT for the first look. Maggie was bubbling with excitement, mixed with some added adrenaline from hitting a deer on the drive (oops) and forgetting the shoes and rings at home, but it all worked out. Soon Adam was watching the mountains and Maggie was walking out in her wedding dress. The first look was so special and the sun popped out just in time.

THE MORNING OF...

Adam and Maggie got dressed separately the morning of. Adam was at a friend's house in Burlington, practicing his vows, toasting to the big day and squeezing in some downtime before heading out. Maggie and her cousin, Rachel, were getting ready at home while Maggie video called her bridesmaids in CA. Sipping champagne, and following the guide of her girlfriend for applying bridal makeup and curling her hair. Soon they were all headed for the First Look - here it goes.

THE WEDDING...

The wedding took place in a family friend's backyard in Burlington, VT (who also happens to be an incredible caterer). Thousands of red rose petals lined the aisle, mason jars of flowers lined ceremony, and the lake and huge tree made the perfect backdrop. The ceremony was beautiful and filled with tears and laughs. Friends and family also joined virtually by Zoom, which made it even more special.
